Lumin also helps with information about nearby attractions, transportation options, and local hotspots, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Lumin will offer personalized services and activity suggestions to ensure you have the best experience.

Request Services or Repairs

Guests can easily communicate with Lumin to report issues or request services, such as room service or repairs for broken items in their room. Lumin will automatically generate a Task for the service personnel and assign it to the relevant department, ensuring that hotel staff can promptly address and resolve the issue.

Make Reservations

Guests can easily make reservations for restaurants or special events and activities directly through Lumin. We collaborate with hotels to configure the reservation settings for each event according to their specific needs. Lumin can handle the entire booking process, from checking the availability, to creating or canceling the reservation and informing guests of any requirements or rules, providing updates during the progress. If necessary, Lumin will also obtain the guest's agreement to ensure a smooth booking experience.

Leave Feedback

Guests can leave comments and feedback about their stay, dining experiences, travels, or reservations. Lumin analyzes the feedback, categorizing it as positive / negative / neutral, and identifies the relevant department. It then automatically creates the appropriate feedback entry in the hotel’s system, ensuring that the right teams are informed and can take action where needed. Lumin or Human Assistance

When communicating with Lumin, guests have the option to choose whether Lumin should handle their inquiry or if a hotel staff member should respond directly. If they select Lumin, the AI assistant will take care of their requests. If they prefer a staff member, the message will be directed accordingly. All conversations are visible to the hotel staff, and they can step in at any point to take over the conversation, ensuring the guest receives the most appropriate and personalized support.

  • Guest does not need to create an account. A simple login form with their last name and room number, or a specific QR link, directs them to their personal chat with Lumin.

  • Language Preference: Guests can change the user interface language to their preference. However, they can still communicate with Lumin in any language, and Lumin will respond in the same language, ensuring a smooth conversation experience.

  • Notifications: Guests can easily turn notifications on or off, choosing when and how they want to be alerted.

  • Microphone Control: Guests have the ability to enable or disable their microphone for voice interactions.

  • Theme Customization: Guests can personalize their experience further by changing the app’s theme to suit their style.
